Design a Life You Want, With Global Health in View

A women-centered wellness and learning hub from Project Heal SBC, where personal planning, community, and ethical global health travel come together in one guided journey.

Overview

A softer, steadier space for women’s planning, renewal, and global health learning

This hub introduces a women-led learning experience from Project Heal SBC that brings together reflection, practical life planning, supportive community, and a thoughtful connection to health equity and ethical global engagement.

What this hub offers

Wellness reflection with a wider horizon

The Ladies Global Health & Travel Learning Experience Hub is designed for women who need room to step back, think clearly, and imagine what a more grounded life can look like. It offers an overview-style pathway that links personal wellbeing with community, reflection, and a wider understanding of global health.

The tone is intentional and supportive: a space for thoughtful planning, not pressure; for renewal with substance, not performance; and for connecting women’s lived realities to larger conversations about equity, health, and care.

Destination

Panama remains the current flagship setting

Panama, including Boquete and surrounding communities, is currently the featured destination because it supports a retreat-like atmosphere while opening space for women-centered reflection and high-level learning about community-rooted health realities.

Rest and reflection

Settings are imagined as calm, women-friendly spaces where participants can slow down, think, and reconnect with what they need.

Learning with context

The destination supports broad, ethical learning about community life, health systems, and the local realities that shape wellbeing.

Future possibilities

Additional destinations may emerge over time, but each will be chosen with care for women’s wellbeing, equity, safety, and community alignment.

Purpose

A place to reconnect your plans with your values

The purpose of this hub is to give women a supportive overview space to reflect on wellness, life design, and next steps while staying connected to a broader view of health equity and social conditions that shape opportunity.

Reflect inward

Consider the personal, practical, and emotional realities that are shaping your current season of life.

Plan forward

Move from vague hope into clearer priorities, realistic next steps, and a more livable sense of direction.

Connect outward

Hold personal renewal alongside a wider ethic of solidarity, justice, and support for community-based global health work.

Learning pillars

Five overview pillars guide the journey

These pillars are presented as a discreet view of the experience arc rather than a detailed internal curriculum.

1

Personal SDOH Mapping

Explore how work, housing, family, caregiving, and community conditions shape health, options, and daily decisions.

2

Vision and Planning

Clarify what matters most and translate your values into practical goals and next-step planning.

3

Community and Support Systems

Identify the people, rhythms, and resources that help meaningful change feel possible and sustainable.

4

Global Health & Justice Lens

Connect personal story to women’s health, equity-focused work, and the importance of community-rooted care.

5

Integration & Next Steps

Carry home a living roadmap that supports reflection, follow-through, and a steadier relationship with your goals.

Travel experience

Travel as thoughtful learning, not spectacle

The Ladies Hub frames travel as a slow and intentional extension of women’s reflection and learning. This page introduces the spirit of the experience without sharing internal rollout details.

Travel connected to this hub is envisioned as reflective, women-centered, and grounded in ethical engagement. The emphasis is on learning, journaling, dialogue, retreat-style pace, and respectful exposure to community realities — not on fast itineraries or performative service narratives.

Prepared with care

Participants are oriented to the purpose of the experience and invited to approach travel with curiosity, humility, and reflection.

Guided and reflective

The experience centers conversation, observation, journaling, and meaning-making rather than constant activity.

Women-friendly by design

Settings and rhythms are shaped to support rest, safety, clarity, and a sense of grounded belonging.

Integrated afterward

The value of the journey continues in how participants interpret it, apply it, and reconnect it to their lives at home.

Who it’s for

For women seeking depth, clarity, and room to breathe

This hub is for women from varied backgrounds who are carrying a lot and want a more intentional space to reflect, reset, and connect personal wellbeing to a broader story of justice, equity, and community health.

This may feel right if you are...
  • Balancing professional, emotional, or caregiving demands.
  • Longing for structure without rigidity.
  • Interested in wellness that includes context, community, and purpose.
  • Curious about global health through an ethical and women-centered lens.
Why it feels different

Renewal with substance

Rather than offering only escape, the Ladies Hub is shaped for women who want reflection paired with meaning: rest with intention, learning with context, and planning that can carry forward into real life.
