We have openings locally for UCSB, Antioch, Westmount, SBCC , Channel Islands students! Candidates will apply real world experience in field-work assignments that capture the following categories: Identifying demographic populations in need, Legal aspects of homeless populations, Educational Supports, Outreach Medical Services & Homeless services, Mental Health Services, Veterans Services, Community Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Suicide prevention in the world of Mental Health Support Services. Also candidate will assist PHOSBC volunteers with some policy implementations research and assisting w/creating organizations policies w/support as needed. Go to Handshake and apply! PHOSBC Project MAP is seeking talent for our current volunteer opportunities.
Positions available this term includes (virtual/office) needs: Grant Writer, Administrative. Asst. Nursing & Pre_Health/Med Students, MSWc, LMFTc, Creative Arts Therapist & Psychology/Neuro-Psych Students. We also are seeking "Angels" volunteers to assist us with our Outreach Fieldwork (Thursdays) 5:30-7:30PM for Neighborhood Navigation Centers w/ SB ACT NNC. @ Alameda Park. We are looking forward to making an impact this year! We have new outreach assignments and new community partners. We are getting off to a slow start however w/our Tulane Univ. New Orleans partnership as they are forced to navigate through all the power outages & updates due to the recent impact to the city by Hurricane IDA. Please be sure to check with your University Department before resuming your fieldwork. We are closely monitoring all of our students associated w/the disaster and pray for safety to our virtual family.

Videographer/Media Manager
We are looking for a videographer to be able to shoot & edit youtube channel education sessions, community events, (when appropriate during Covid) 19. Life-Coaching/ Group sessions, and other footage to help showcase our organizations mission in a creative, artistic way. Ideally, you will help us educate our social media following re: healthcare issues affecting the nation today. Duties Include: Capturing Footage of events and day to day operations of the company Capturing appropriate B-roll footage, Editing footage Creating short videos with appropriate titles, font, and graphics Deliver content to manager by deadline Qualifications: Required experience: Videography: 4 years Social Media: 2 years Photography: 1 year |
